Have you ever wondered what civil protection really means—or how ordinary people can become part of a strong, skilled, and resilient response team?

CPYC at a Glance is a hands-on event where you’ll explore what it means to prepare for emergencies, help others in a crisis, show leadership, and build technical and survival skills. Whether you're interested in volunteering, joining our regular training program, building confidence, or just having a fun day outdoors with your family—this event is for you.

What to Expect:

  • Experience interactive skills demonstrations in real-life disaster scenarios

  • Practice hands on skills to stay in control when disaster strikes

  • Connect with CPYC volunteer team members to learn how to get involved

  • Enjoy a day of outdoor learning, physical activity immersed in beautiful nature.

  • Explore our 100 acre CPYC training headquarters

What to Bring:

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Packed nut-free lunch + snacks

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray or repellent

  • Comfortable closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
