Let your child discover their inner hero this summer at CPYC’s “Hands On” Summer Camp — an outdoor experience packed with fun, friendship, and the foundations of disaster readiness.

Set on our beautiful 100-acre property in Cantley, QC, this adventure blends playful exploration with hands-on learning. Through games, challenges, imaginative disaster scenarios and hands-on skills development, kids will build confidence, experience how good it feels to be able to help themselves and others, and the empowerment that comes with feeling capable — while making unforgettable summer memories.

What to Expect:

Surrounded by beautiful nature, “Hands On” Summer Camp combines teamspirit, the value of being prepared, having skills and a can-do mindset with how to respond and stay in control when unexpected things happen.

  • Fun, structured outdoor activities led by experienced CPYC leaders

  • Team-based games and challenges inspired by real-life emergencies

  • Age-appropriate skills like shelter-building, orientation, and using tools to create or build

  • Forest exploration, stream play, and creative downtime

  • A chance to build leadership, confidence, and compassion

What to Bring:

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Packed nut-free lunch + snacks

  • Hat or cap

  • Rain gear

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray/ repellent

  • Comfortable closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
